Mike Moore Is New President of The Promotion Co.

Owner C. Bruce Hubley hands the reigns of The Promotion Company-Family Events to fifteen-year veteran of the firm.

(INDIANAPOLIS) Mike Moore is the new president of The Promotion Company- Family Events, producers and promoters of automotive and other special events nationwide. Moore, most recently the executive vice president and general manager of the company accepted his promotion to president effective January 1, 2008.

Moore, 39, joined The Promotion Company in 1993 and has held a number of positions in the firm. He was born in Elyria, Ohio and received his bachelor's degree cum laude in accounting from the University of Akron in 1990. He worked as a corporate accountant for Harwick Chemical Corporation in Akron for three years prior to joining The Promotion Company. Moore is married and has two children.

Entrepreneur C. Bruce Hubley founded The Promotion Company in 1976. Since the company was founded, he has served as President and CEO. Hubley is now making a transition out of the day-to-day management of the company while retaining the title of owner. Hubley commented on Moore's new responsibilities: "It is with great pride and personal pleasure that I've been able to pass the baton to our new president, Mike Moore. He is a fifteen-year veteran of The Promotion Company who has served in a number of vital positions. During 2007, under Mike's leadership as general manager, we have enjoyed our best year ever. Mike is a seasoned veteran and has a great vision for the future. It's been a long-time goal of mine to find just the right individual to take the reigns of the company and allow me to pursue some of my other interests. With Mike as president, I'm now able to do those things while maintaining my company ownership."

Mike Moore will guide The Promotion Company-Family Events as the company enters another busy year of event production. Family Events will stage 19 or more automotive events in 2008 at venues throughout the United States. Shows will include eight 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals events, the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, Street Machine Nationals, Hot Rod Super Nationals, Car Craft Magazine Summer Nationals, Truck and Jeep Fest, and others. Additionally, the company also will produce Professional Bull Riding dates, the Autofest indoor car show series and indoor Garage Sales in a number of cities around the country.

Family Events plans to launch a highly interactive website in the first half of 2008 that will extend to the enthusiasts who attend and participate in the company's niche events an opportunity to network and re-live their fun event experiences.

The company's staff of 22 has expertise in operations, event production, box office, group sales, marketing, media buying, publicity, promotions, and sponsorship sales and fulfillment.

Moore says: "I consider it an honor that Mr. Hubley has the faith in me to lead his company into the future. We have a definite strategic plan to grow the company. The plan includes reliance on our well-honed ability at some tried-and-true tactics as well as some exciting new initiatives. We plan to use cyberspace to get our message to our core group of enthusiasts while bringing new enthusiasts into the fold."
