The Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National will return to Indianapolis, the Racing Capital of the World, on Saturday, August 29th as part of the Red Bull MotoGP weekend.

Dating back to pre-World War II, Flat Track (Dirt Track) is the uniquely American form of motorcycle racing. Riders pitch their machines sideways into the turns, broad sliding side by side, just inches apart from each other. Drafting wars at over 140 mph on the long straights keeps the field close and provides the closest finishes in motorcycle racing.
